Jameson has been distilling Irish whiskey since 1780 — first at Bow Street in Dublin, now at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork. Over two and a half centuries, the approach has remained consistent: triple distilled for smoothness, blended from pot still and grain whiskeys, matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

The result is a whiskey defined by approachability without simplicity. Light and smooth with notes of vanilla, toasted wood and a gentle sherry sweetness — a style that works neat, over ice or in a cocktail, and has made Jameson the world’s best-selling Irish whiskey.

The range extends from Jameson Original through the Caskmates series — finished in craft beer barrels, first IPA, then stout — to the Black Barrel, with its heavily charred ex-bourbon casks adding richness and depth, and the aged expressions of the Whiskey Makers Series. Each expression is built on the same triple distillation foundation, with cask finishing and extended maturation adding layers of character.
