Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is a product of curiosity and collaboration — born from a conversation between Jameson’s Head of Whiskey Science and the Head Brewer of a local Irish craft beer brewery, and the happy experiment of swapping whiskey and beer barrels that followed. Triple distilled, blended Irish whiskey, patiently finished in Irish craft stout-seasoned barrels that impart a distinctive layer of hops, cocoa, and milk chocolate to Jameson’s signature smooth, approachable character. Fresh hay and crisp orchard fruit on the nose — green apples, pears, and a twist of lime zest — deepening to hazelnut and milk chocolate, with a long, sweet finish of milk chocolate and butterscotch.
