Distillation & Maturation
Convocation combines pot- and column-distilled Barbados rums matured for fourteen years using three distinct cask pathways. These include rum aged entirely in ex-bourbon barrels, rum aged entirely in ex-Madeira casks, and rum matured for ten years in ex-bourbon barrels followed by four years in ex-Madeira casks. The resulting blend brings together the depth of extended tropical maturation with the distinctive fruit and spice character associated with Madeira-seasoned oak.
