Red Hill Estate Merricks Grove Pinot Noir 2024 is a single-site Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir of genuine elegance and expressive character — sourced from the D and F blocks of the Merricks Grove vineyard, hand-selected from low-yielding vines to capture aromatic delicacy and depth of flavour, and crafted with minimal intervention to allow the fruit to shine. Bright and fragrant with vibrant cherry, blackberry, and damson plum, silky tannins weaving through a palate of dusty tobacco, soft violets, and a rich finish of toasted crumble and white spice. Serve at 13–16°C — cool enough to keep the flavours fresh and vibrant, but not so cold that you miss out on all that silky, layered goodness.

Appearance

Bright, clear ruby — the vibrant, luminous colour of a cool climate Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir of genuine purity and aromatic delicacy.

Aroma

Bright and fragrant — vibrant cherry, blackberry, and damson plum lead an expressive and immediately appealing bouquet, with soft violets adding a delicate floral lift that speaks of the low-yielding D and F blocks of Merricks Grove.

Palate

Silky tannins weave through a palate of dusty tobacco, soft violets, and vibrant red and dark fruit, with a rich finish of toasted crumble and white spice that lingers with genuine length and elegance. A Pinot Noir that showcases the artistry of the Red Hill winemaking team — elegant, expressive, and full of character.

Pairs With

Chinese duck, wild mushroom risotto, and a simple pizza Napoletana. Also excellent with roasted quail, duck confit, and earthy lentil dishes. Serve at 13–16°C — slightly cooler than room temperature is just right for a Pinot Noir of this delicacy and finesse.
