Winemaking Notes

Red Hill Estate Cool Climate Pinot Grigio 2025 is crafted from the finest cool climate grapes sourced from the Mornington Peninsula and Australia’s most renowned cool climate regions, with the winemaking process focused entirely on preserving the variety’s natural freshness and vibrant fruit character. Grapes are carefully harvested at optimal ripeness to ensure perfect balance between fruit intensity and natural acidity, then gently pressed and cool-fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks — preserving the invigorating citrus aromas and delicate pear notes that define this wine. The result is a Pinot Grigio of smooth texture, clean and crisp finish, and the elegance expected from premium cool climate Australian winemaking.

Vintage Conditions

The 2025 vintage in Australia’s cool climate regions provided excellent conditions for Pinot Grigio — moderate temperatures, consistent growing conditions, and the Mornington Peninsula’s cool maritime influences and gentle breezes preserving aromatic intensity and ensuring optimal ripeness with balanced sugar levels. The result is a wine of vibrant fruit character and refreshing acidity that is drinking beautifully now and will continue to do so over the next 1–2 years whilst retaining its youthful citrus character and freshness.
