Deep dark plum red in colour, the nose offers ripe dark berries, blackcurrant and plum with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is full and rich with plush dark fruits, soft chalky tannins and subtle oak — well-balanced with a smooth, lingering finish. Pepperjack was created by Saltram as a tribute to the Barossa's rich winemaking heritage.

The Pepperjack range is a tribute to the Barossa's rich heritage. The winemaking team respects traditional winemaking techniques while remaining dynamic and imaginative, creating wines that reflect their passion for this special region. Parcels of fruit were crushed, destemmed and fermented separately in traditional fermenters, then gently pressed, racked and transferred to seasoned and new oak for 12 months maturation before blending and bottling.
