Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial Brut NV is the rosé expression of the House’s iconic Impérial cuvée — created from more than 100 different wines, with 20% to 30% reserve wines selected to enhance maturity, complexity, and consistency. Luminous pink with fine, persistent bubbles; an intensely fruity bouquet of wild strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant, and rose petal; and a seductive, silky palate of red berry fruits with crisp acidity, a touch of minerality, and an elegant, persistent finish. The bright fruitiness, seductive palate, and elegant maturity that define the Moët & Chandon style — in rosé.

Appearance

Luminous pink with subtle amber highlights and a delicate salmon hue — fine, persistent bubbles rising gracefully through the glass to create an elegant mousse. Remarkable clarity and brilliance, and the romantic character of a rosé Champagne from one of the world’s most celebrated Houses.

Aroma

Intensely fruity and expressive — wild strawberry, raspberry, and redcurrant open the bouquet, with floral notes of rose petal adding refinement and hints of pink grapefruit providing freshness. Subtle brioche and toasted almond emerge, reflecting careful maturation on lees and the complexity that 100+ wines and up to 30% reserve wines deliver.

Palate

Seductive and beautifully balanced with a silky texture — generous red berry fruits of wild strawberry and cherry, complemented by crisp acidity that provides structure and vitality. A touch of minerality adds complexity, delicate spice notes linger, and the finish is elegant and persistent with a harmonious balance between fruitiness and maturity.

Pairs With

Fresh salmon, tuna tartare, prawns, soft cheeses, charcuterie, and berry-based desserts — or as the perfect apéritif for celebrations, romantic dinners, and elegant entertaining of every kind. The silky texture, bright fruit, and persistent finish make Rosé Impérial a natural and deeply satisfying partner for the finest occasions.

Winemaking Notes

Created from more than 100 different wines, with 20% to 30% reserve wines specially selected to enhance maturity, complexity, and consistency — the assemblage reflecting the diversity and complementarity of the three Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir for body and structure, Pinot Meunier for suppleness and roundness, and Chardonnay for finesse and freshness. The rosé character is achieved through the careful addition of still red wine from the Moët & Chandon estate, giving the cuvée its luminous pink colour and the intensely fruity red berry character that defines Rosé Impérial.

Producer History

Moët & Chandon was founded in Épernay in 1743 by Claude Moët, and has since become the world’s most celebrated Champagne house — supplying the courts of Europe, accompanying Napoleon on his campaigns, and defining the global language of celebration for nearly three centuries. The Impérial cuvée was created in 1869, named in honour of Moët’s enduring friendship with Napoleon Bonaparte. Rosé Impérial is the rosé expression of that legacy — the same bright fruitiness, seductive palate, and elegant maturity that have made Impérial the world’s most recognised Champagne, in the most romantic colour of all.
