The 2025 vintage was shaped by a dry, warm-to-hot late summer that compressed the growing season and drove early, fast-ripening fruit with strong colour and intensity. Lower-than-average regional yields meant each vine's energy was concentrated into a smaller fruit load, adding to the richness and definition of the final wine. The result is a Shiraz of characteristic softness and flesh, with the signature blueberry and spice character of McLaren Vale's Blewitt Springs, Willunga and McLaren Flats fruit, underpinned by supple tannins and well-integrated French oak influence from nine months of maturation.

Winemaking
Fruit was selected from parcels across Blewitt Springs, Willunga and McLaren Flats. Winemakers Larry Cherubino and Debbie Lauritz fermented the wine on skins using a combination of open and closed fermenters before maturation in French oak for nine months.
