The 2022 vintage Innocent Bystander Pinot Gris is a citrus-driven French style white that is fresh, textural, and lingers just long enough. With aromas of fresh cut pears, snow pea shoots and lemon thyme. Lime flowers and miso. Crisp, bone dry and moreish with twangy lemon sorbet finish on the palate.

The 2022 vintage Innocent Bystander Pinot Gris saw cool flowering leading to low yields with high quality in Yarra Valley, and terrific acidity from King Valley. King Valley 85% & Yarra Valley 15%.

Fruit was predominantly hand-picked between February and April 2022 with a combination of whole bunch pressed and de-stemmed to press 90% stainless steel cold fermentation to hold onto that freshness, 10% matured in French oak for that lush mouth feel. Barrels lees stirred for three months.
