Granite Hills Macedon Ranges Shiraz 2018

The winery is situated on the north eastern aspect of the Macedon Ranges wine region, 85 km north of Melbourne.

Perched atop the spectacular boulder strewn hills of the Great Dividing Range at an altitude 550 meters, the view over Granite Hills vineyard and of central Victoria beyond, immediately gives you the impression of something quite special.

Trail blazers of viticulture and winemaking in what is statistically Australia’s coolest wine region, Granite Hills has celebrated success way beyond its size, winning more than 500 awards in Australian and International competitions.

Made from handpicked grapes harvested, grown on low cropped 40 year old shiraz vines, utilising small batch fermentation techniques including hand plunging, followed by maturation in french and American oak hogsheads. Winery Notes
