Buller The Nook Pinot Noir 2025 is a luscious and characterful Rutherglen Pinot Noir from one of North-East Victoria’s most historic and celebrated wineries — established in 1921 by Reginald Langdon Buller and still drawing on original 1920s estate plantings for intensely concentrated, low-yielding fruit. Black raspberry, cherry, and spiced vanillin on the nose, with dark cherries, subtle spice, and vanilla on the palate and a little grip to finish. Over a century of Rutherglen winemaking. In every glass.

Tasting Notes

Appearance

Deep ruby with vibrant clarity — the rich, inviting colour of a Rutherglen Pinot Noir from dry-grown estate vines, some of which trace their origins back to the original 1920s plantings of Buller Wines’ 22-hectare estate vineyard.

Aroma

Luscious black raspberry, cherry, and spiced vanillin — an expressive and inviting bouquet that showcases the concentrated, low-yielding fruit character that is the hallmark of the Buller Wines estate vineyard and over a century of Rutherglen winemaking.

Palate

Dark cherries lead the way, followed by subtle spice and vanilla with a little grip to finish — the satisfying, well-structured palate of a Rutherglen Pinot Noir crafted from dry-grown estate fruit of genuine concentration and character.

Pairs With

A natural partner for duck, roast chicken, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, soft cheeses, and charcuterie — the dark cherry fruit, spiced vanilla, and gentle grip make Buller The Nook Pinot Noir a deeply versatile and rewarding companion for the table.

Winemaking Notes

Crafted from dry-grown estate fruit sourced from Buller Wines’ historic 22-hectare estate vineyard in Rutherglen — first planted by Reginald Langdon Buller in the early 1920s, with over half of those original plantings still producing the intensely concentrated, low-yielding fruit that defines the Buller Wines portfolio. Rutherglen Pinot Noir of genuine estate character and over a century of winemaking heritage behind every bottle.
