Bremerton Old Adam Shiraz 2013

The Old Adam is a combination of parcels of wine from the best blocks of shiraz from the Bremerton vineyards. These vineyards are influenced by the temperate micro climate of warm days, cool evenings and dry conditions which prevail in Langhorne Creek during the ripening season.The 2013 season is an excellent example of premium Langhorne Creek shiraz, showing intensity of rich fruit flavours and elegant integrated oak, providing a delicious well structured complex wine. “Fine shiraz from Langhorne Creek is often overlooked by better known prestigious cabernets, but this wine will challenge that perception, a beautifully integrated nig-fella shiraz at 15 percent alcohol yet beautifully balanced combining best block fruit, 22 months in deftly handled oak that all come together with wafts of gum tree and see, dark earthiness adding great complexity.
