Didier Chopin has always been passionate about wine and in 1989, he devoted himself to this passion, naming his first release after himself. He settled in Champlat-Boujacourt, in La Vallée de la Marne, 25 km from Épernay and Reims, 1 hour from Paris (Dormans exit). Year after year, he acquired new parcels and today he owns a little more than 3 hectares and about 200,000 bottles are produced each year. His is a family business, working with his wife and two children. The Didier Chopin Champagne Brut is a classic, fuller-bodied Champagne of superb quality made from two black grapes of Champagne, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This outstanding independent Grower Champagne showcases ripe stone fruit, brioche and floral aromas, reflecting the passionate dedication of Didier Chopin and his family to producing Champagne of exceptional quality. The focus on Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier creates a fuller-bodied style with excellent structure and depth, whilst maintaining the elegance and finesse essential to fine Champagne.
