Temple Bruer has been farming organically in Langhorne Creek, South Australia, since 1996 — one of the longest-standing organic certifications in Australian wine. No synthetic chemicals, no herbicides, no artificial fertilisers. In the vineyard and in the winery.

The winery is also one of Australia’s most experienced producers of Preservative Free wine. Since 2006, Temple Bruer has produced wines with no detectable SO2, certified by the Australian Wine Research Institute. Ten varieties are now made in this style, including Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Shiraz Mataro and a Cuvée Brut.

All Temple Bruer wines are vegan-friendly. No animal-derived fining agents are used at any stage of production or packaging.

The range spans Langhorne Creek, Eden Valley and the Riverland, with a crushing capacity of 600 tonnes across a winery that has been continuously expanded since 1979. Organic certification is the floor. Carbon NET Zero is the goal.
