Production Notes

Tromba Reposado is aged in white oak barrels for 6–8 months in the rugged Jalisco highlands — crafted by maverick master distiller Marco Cedano and his son Rodrigo, men skilled in the art of turning blue agave into bottled brilliance. The result is a silky, sweet, and nutty reposado of rich chocolate, caramel, and dried red fruit character — the perfect storm of youthful boldness and weathered wisdom in every bottle.

Producer History

La Tromba is Spanish slang for a sudden and intense rainstorm — but it means something more than that. It means something big is happening, change is brewing, and nothing will ever be the same again. When three friends — Eric Brass, Nick Reid, and James Sherry — met in Guadalajara in 2005, it was between sips of tequila that they made a pact to no longer live conventional lives or work typical jobs. They would make extraordinary tequila their passion to pursue. Despite little money and many naysayers, they travelled bar to bar to build the groundswell for a tequila made in the rugged Jalisco highlands — finding partners in maverick master distiller Marco Cedano and his son Rodrigo, and building a powerful force in new world tequila. This is Tequila Tromba.
