Imbue Distillery Angel's Share Port Cask Single Malt 700mL

Imbue Distillery's Angel's Share Port Cask Single Malt is an Australian single malt whisky made from pilsner grain, distilled in Melbourne and matured for five years in Australian Port and Tawny barrels sourced from Rutherglen. Rich, full-bodied and decadent, it is a whisky shaped by the deep influence of wine cask maturation — delivering dark chocolate richness, dried fruit and warming spice in every glass.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Reddish-amber, deep and inviting.

The palate is full-bodied with generous dark chocolate richness and layers of dried fruit — figs, raisins and dark berry notes woven through a warming spiced core. The finish is long and satisfying, with the decadent, wine-cask-led character lingering well past the pour.

Maturation

Five years in Australian Port and Tawny barrels from Rutherglen gives this single malt its distinctive depth and richness. The wine-cask influence is central to the whisky's identity, contributing colour, weight and the complex interplay of fruit and spice that defines the Angel's Share Port Cask expression.

Serving

Best savoured neat. This is a whisky designed to be lingered over — equally at home as an after-dinner spirit as it is the centrepiece of a considered whisky evening. No ice required.
