In 1876, a young Thomas Hardy recognised the potential that lay within the unique soils of McLaren Vale and made it his mission to create wines that were a true expression of this remarkable region. Founded in 1861 Tintara is the home of Hardys and remains a testament to quality winemaking, combining age old methods and new technology.

Sourced from a variety of McLaren Vale vineyards. Diligent vineyard management and strong vine architecture allowed fruit to achieve desirable sugar and flavour levels with very low disease pressure.
