The Debussy Reverie Pinot Noir 2023, hailing from the Mediterranean Pays d’Oc region in southern France, is crafted with a traditional approach by the family-owned Rêverie winery, established in 2004. The grapes are sourced from select vineyards along the Mediterranean coastline, benefiting from the region’s warm, sunny climate and cooling sea breezes, which contribute to the wine’s vibrant fruit profile. Following hand-harvesting, the fruit undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve its delicate aromas and flavours. A portion of the wine is aged in French oak barrels to enhance its structure and impart subtle vanilla and earthy notes, while careful blending ensures a light-bodied, silky texture with refined tannins. Sustainable farming practices are employed, maintaining the vineyard’s natural balance and emphasising the authentic expression of the Pinot Noir varietal and the region’s 2,000-year-old winemaking heritage.
