Appearance

Deep crimson with excellent depth — the colour of a Rutherglen Shiraz from vines over a century old.

Aroma

Intensely concentrated ripe red fruits, Christmas pudding spices, cherry and blackcurrant.

Palate

Full-bodied and richly concentrated, with masses of cherry and blackcurrant, warming spice and rounded tannins. Long, lingering finish with persistent fruit and spice.

Pairs With

Slow-braised beef, grilled lamb, venison, aged hard cheeses, rich game dishes and char-grilled steaks.
