Winemaking
Grapes sourced from vineyards in the Murray Valley of north west Victoria, picked at optimal flavour development to ensure a classic grape-flavoured base. A small addition of naturally derived pink grapefruit flavour was added to the base wine. Bottled at 8.0% ABV.
About Prosecco at Brown Brothers
Brown Brothers was one of the first producers to plant Prosecco in Victoria's King Valley — climatically the closest region in Australia to north east Italy. Their Banksdale vineyard at 485 metres above sea level remains one of the premium sites for Australian Prosecco production.
Food Pairing
Best enjoyed over ice in a large wine glass with a slice of dried grapefruit. Pairs well with antipasto platters, charcuterie, green Thai curry and pan-fried lemongrass prawns.
