Upon tasting, this sparkling wine showcases a fine mousse and notes of lemon sherbet and apple on the front palate, followed by a creamy mid palate and a zippy, crisp finish. With its perfectly balanced flavours and plenty of length, this young and vibrant wine is ready to be enjoyed now or can be cellared for up to five years.

The production of “Methode Traditionnelle” sparkling wines has been an integral part of the winemaking at Blue Pyrenees Estate for many years. In 1992 the team at Blue Pyrenees first experimented with nighttime picking under lights, to optimise both fruit condition and temperature. The night harvesting resulted in an amazing improvement – crisper base wines of outstanding quality, with higher natural acidity and the Midnight Cuvée was born!

The 2022 Midnight cuvée is a blend of the best Chardonnay parcels from our estate vineyards and hand-picked grapes from the ultra-cool Macedon Ranges, and is aged on yeast in bottle for 24 months.
