Character
Matured entirely in first-fill Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, A'bunadh delivers a characteristically rich, generous and deeply sherried style. Expect intense dried fruit, spiced orange peel, dark chocolate, allspice and praline, underpinned by warming oak and a long, bittersweet finish. The texture is superlatively full-bodied and creamy — a direct consequence of the no-chill-filtration approach.
Serving
Best enjoyed with a small addition of still water to open the spirit at cask strength. A few drops will soften the alcohol and allow the full aromatic complexity to emerge. Alternatively, savour neat for the full intensity. Serve at room temperature in a tulip or Glencairn glass.
