Cointreau was created by Edouard Cointreau in 1875 after noting consumers’ interest in the flavour of orange, a rare and expensive commodity at the time. He travelled the world and continuously experimented with recipes and distillation processes until he created the perfect blend. Since then, Cointreau has long been a star player in cocktail culture and creation. The iconic orange liqueur is at the heart of over 350 classic cocktails and a stipulation for back bar all over the world. Like the liquid, the quality of Cointreau is crystal clear.
