Collection: Pieropan | Soave Classico

Pieropan is the benchmark producer of Soave Classico. Founded in 1880 and based in the historic heart of the appellation, the family has spent more than a century demonstrating what Garganega — grown on the volcanic soils of the Soave Classico zone — is genuinely capable of. Where much of the broader Soave appellation traded on volume, Pieropan held the line on quality, and in doing so helped rescue the reputation of one of Italy’s most important white wine regions.

The estate is now led by Andrea and Dario Pieropan, sons of the legendary Leonildo Pieropan, who built the winery’s international reputation over decades of uncompromising winemaking. The range moves from the Soave Classico — a wine of genuine elegance, minerality and freshness — through to the single-vineyard crus that have become reference points for the appellation: La Rocca, from volcanic basalt soils, and Calvarino, from the estate’s oldest vines on limestone and clay. The Recioto di Soave Le Colombare completes the range — a luscious sweet wine from dried Garganega, made in tiny quantities and among the finest examples of the style.
