Collection: Elderton Wines | Barossa Valley

Elderton Wines is based in Nuriootpa in the heart of the Barossa Valley, South Australia. The property was purchased in the 1980s by Neil and Lorraine Ashmead, with the 1918 gentleman's bungalow now serving as the winery's cellar door. In 2003, sons Cameron and Allister Ashmead took over the operation, expanding the estate with additional vineyards in Greenock and Craneford across significant Barossa sub-appellations.

Elderton produces Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and blends across a range of tiers — from the estate range through to the single-vineyard Ashmead Cabernet Sauvignon and the flagship Command Shiraz, sourced from vines planted in 1894.
