T’Gallant Imogen Pinot Gris 2025 is the original T’Gallant Pinot Gris — named after the daughter of the T’Gallant label designer, and inspired by the great Pinot Gris of Alsace in France. Sourced from the T’Gallant Estate Vineyard and blended with fruit from selected high-altitude vineyards across the Mornington Peninsula, Imogen is a luscious, structured, and mouth-filling cool-climate Pinot Gris with notes of peaches, pears, and white peaches, and the intense, textural character of the Alsace style. T’Gallant pioneered Pinot Gris and Grigio in Australia in the 1990s — a brave move that defied all advice at a time when classic varietals dominated. People fell in love. The style flourished. Imogen is where it all began.

Tasting Notes

Appearance

Deep, luminous golden straw — the rich, inviting colour of a luscious, structured Alsace-style Pinot Gris from the Mornington Peninsula, with the intensity and texture that high-altitude cool-climate fruit and T’Gallant’s pioneering winemaking philosophy deliver.

Aroma

Luscious and fragrant — peaches, pears, and white peaches, with the rich, inviting, and characterfully Alsatian bouquet of a Pinot Gris sourced from the T’Gallant Estate Vineyard and selected high-altitude vineyards across the Mornington Peninsula.

Intense, structured, and mouth-filling — white peaches and pears, with the luscious, textural character of a cool-climate Pinot Gris made in the Alsace style by the pioneers of the variety in Australia. Rich, generous, and genuinely satisfying from the very first sip.

Pairs With

A natural companion for roast pork, duck, Thai green curry, spiced chicken, soft washed-rind cheeses, and any occasion that calls for a luscious, textural white wine of genuine cool-climate character — equally at home at the dining table or enjoyed on its own.

Producer History

T’Gallant takes its name from the sailor’s abbreviation for topgallant — the top sail of square-rigger sailing ships — and like their winemaking philosophy, it represents the peak of an adventurous, free spirit. Nestled in the hills of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, T’Gallant pioneered Pinot Gris and Grigio wines in Australia in the 1990s, defying all advice at a time when classic varietals dominated. People fell in love. The styles flourished. Today, T’Gallant remains an iconic Mornington Peninsula destination — a family-friendly vineyard dining experience set among rolling vineyards, offering vibrant atmosphere, delicious local cuisine, and exceptional wines. The pioneers. Still leading.
