The Oakridge Yarra Valley Rosé 2022 vintage has a stunning pale salmon colour. Aromas of Fuji apple, citrus florals, red cherry and Turkish delight with notes of pink grapefruit and a flick gun flint reduction. The palate is dry, yet soft and welcoming, juicy red fruit and citrus flavours are entwined with creamy textural notes all driven by a fresh pink grapefruit acid line.

Winery & Vintage Info

A cool and long growing season with low crop levels and abundant rainfall has resulted in finely detailed wines of purity, length and complexity.

Selected parcels of Pinot Noir, Syrah and Pinot Meunier were handpicked and whole bunch pressed directly to old French oak barrels for natural fermentation, while the Pinot Grigio parcel was fermented and left on skins for a period of 4 weeks. A selection of saignée barrels where lightly coloured juice is bled from the vats after 24 hours on skins, then barrel fermented in French oak casks was also included into the final blend. This wine is made in a dry savoury style.
