d'Arenberg The Laughing Magpie 2020 brings together the richness of McLaren Vale Shiraz with the fragrant lift of Viognier. Named after the kookaburras that Chester Osborn's daughters called laughing magpies, this distinctive blend has become one of the winery's recognisable reds.
Black cherry, blackberry and dark chocolate lead the way, with liquorice, savoury herbs and a hint of floral spice adding complexity. Generous dark fruit and mouth-coating tannins give the wine plenty of presence, while the Viognier contributes an aromatic dimension that sets it apart from a straight Shiraz.

Appearance: Deep ruby red.
Nose: Black cherries, ripe blackberries, dark chocolate and mocha, with lifted floral notes.
