Tasting Notes
Nose
Raspberry liqueur and dark chocolate. Immediate, distinctive, and unlike any other Kinglake expression. The Red Gum influence is apparent from the first nose — earthy and structured, with a fruit-forward lift that surprises.
Palate
Chocolate, young pinot noir, and pink grapefruit. Medium-bodied with a structured, grippy texture that reflects the density of the Red Gum timber. The finish is long and layered — dark beer, clove, malt extract, cumin, and black cherry — ringing out like feedback after the last note.
