Made in the Yarra Valley, this annual release begins with the ingredients of a traditional Christmas pudding, distilled in the copper still named after co-founder Cameron Mackenzie's mother, Wilma. The gin is then matured in aromatic casks and finished with Rutherglen Classic Muscat, giving it a distinctive richness and gentle sweetness.
The 2026 edition features colourful label artwork by Sydney collage artist Kubi Vasak, celebrating an Australian Christmas with flowering wattles, banksias and nostalgic summer imagery.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Warm amber-gold.
Nose: Juniper and pine-like freshness lead into cinnamon, nutmeg, citrus peel and dried fruit, with a festive pudding-like richness.

The Christmas Gin Story
Australian Christmas Gin is a tribute to co-founder Cameron Mackenzie's memories of Christmas with his mother, Wilma. Each year, she prepared her Christmas pudding using a 1968 Australian Women's Weekly recipe, filling the family home with the aromas of dried fruit, citrus and spice.
Four Pillars carries that tradition forward by distilling the pudding ingredients in the copper still named Wilma. The resulting gin is matured in selected aromatic casks before a finishing addition of Rutherglen Classic Muscat.
Botanicals and Production
The recipe draws on traditional pudding ingredients including sultanas, raisins, currants, nutmeg, cloves and citrus peel, alongside prominent juniper, cassia and star anise. Supporting botanicals include cardamom, lavender, orange, Tasmanian pepperberry, angelica, lemon myrtle and coriander.
This combination delivers the familiar character of gin with the aromatic warmth and fruit richness of a traditional Christmas pudding.
