Ezevo Rakija Gold is a Melbourne-made grape brandy crafted from single vineyard Australian Shiraz β distilled from the wine only, with no grape skins, for a distinguished, velvety character that sets it apart from the crowd. French and Californian oak infusion delivers notes of fresh pine and light tannin on the palate, with a smooth, lingering finish. Kabina Distilling Co. sources single vineyard Australian Shiraz grapes of such quality that, if they werenβt distilling them, theyβd be selling the wine to France. The secret is in the process β only the rich, velvety wine is distilled, with grape skins skipped entirely for a cleaner, more distinguished spirit. The result is finished with a unique infusion of French and Californian oak, delivering the fresh pine, light tannin, and smooth lingering finish that define Ezevo Rakija Gold. Crafted with care and respect for time-honoured methods. The gold standard.
Distillery Heritage
The Kabina story begins in Melbourne, in the neighbourhood of Ognen, Chris, and their friends β where old-school backyard bungalows (Bungalowβ¦ Cabinβ¦ Kabinaβ¦ the European word for cabin) became the go-to hangout for family, friends, and a bottle of rakija always within armβs reach. It was here, in those laid-back, sun-drenched afternoons, that the idea was born: how do you create a better drop? The answer was exploration, experimentation, and innovation β and the result was Kabina. Rakija dates back to at least the 14th century, where a bottle was the only social network you needed. At Kabina Distilling Co., that spirit of hospitality and connection is alive and well. Born in a Melbourne backyard. Made for the world.
