Fantini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2024 is a full-bodied, well-balanced Italian red from the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo — a wine of ruby red depth, intense wild berry character, and a refreshing finish that makes it as versatile at the table as it is easy to enjoy. From vineyards situated around the towns of Ortona, San Salvo, and Pollutri, planted on a mix of clay and limestone soils facing south-east towards the Adriatic, this is a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo of genuine regional character and everyday appeal.

Winemaking Notes
Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are gently crushed and de-stemmed before cold maceration at low temperature for four days — a process that extracts colour and fruit character whilst preserving freshness and aromatic intensity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 24–26°C for 8 to 10 days, retaining the vibrant fruit profile and refreshing finish that define the Fantini house style.
Vintage Conditions
The 2024 vintage from the Adriatic coast vineyards of Abruzzo — situated around Ortona, San Salvo, and Pollutri on south-east facing slopes of clay and limestone soils, trained on both Guyot and pergola systems — produced fruit of intense aromatic character and excellent natural balance, reflected in the wine’s vivid colour, expressive wild berry bouquet, and well-structured palate.
