DEAU XO Cognac is a blend of eaux-de-vie mostly from the Petite Champagne and Fins Bois sub-regions, aged in Limousin oak barrels in our cellars. This amber-coloured, almost mahogany cognac boasts aromas of jasmine, violet, candied fruit, prune, and cinnamon, with a refined and elegant nose. Oaky and floral notes on the palate blend into a full-bodied, well-balanced finish.

DEAU Cognac is a family affair. The story began in 1685 during the reign of King Louis XIV, when Louis Deau became a winegrower in Charente and discovered the mythical alchemy of distillation.

The estate is located in the Fins Bois sub-region. This region of AOC cognac is known for the fine quality of its eau-de-vie. The dominant grape variety, Ugni blanc, creates a vibrant and fresh wine that is perfect for producing cognac. The home of DEAU Cognac, Les Moisans is a lovely hamlet crossed by a narrow winding lane. The estate includes the ageing cellars, the twelve-still distillery, the offices, and the beautifully restored Manor House for welcoming visitors and cognac aficionados.
