Winemaking Notes

Sourced from select vineyards across the Limestone Coast and Langhorne Creek — two of South Australia’s most reliable and characterful regions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2023 vintage delivers the signature dark fruit, vanilla, and chocolate profile that defines Langhorne Creek Cabernet, with careful winemaking ensuring freshness and balance are preserved through to the finish.

Producer History

Behind this cleanskin label sits one of the oldest and most decorated wineries in Australia — a Langhorne Creek institution founded in 1850 by a remarkable pioneer who arrived in South Australia aboard the HMS Buffalo in 1836 and eventually settled at a place then known as Langhorne’s Crossing. What followed was 176 years of continuous winemaking by the direct descendants of that founding family — an unbroken line of stewardship, craft, and commitment to the land that has produced some of Australia’s most celebrated wines. Halliday Winery of the Year 2024. Winemaker of the Year 2018. Jimmy Watson Trophy 2019. The label may be clean, but the pedigree behind it is anything but.
