Chopin Potato Vodka is the world’s most awarded potato vodka — crafted by hand at the Dorda family’s historic distillery in Krzesk, eastern Poland, using the freshest seasonal potatoes sourced from family farms within 18 miles of the estate. Subtle green apple and vanilla on the nose; full-bodied, creamy, and earthy on the palate with a long, clean finish and no burn. A great standalone vodka — ideal for sipping neat, in a martini, or in cocktails.

Tasting Notes

Appearance

Crystal clear with a brilliant, pure clarity — the hallmark of a world-class small-batch potato vodka crafted using the distillery’s original copper column still and traditional techniques unchanged since inception.

Aroma

Subtle and inviting — green apple and vanilla lead with delicate freshness and warmth. A nose of genuine potato vodka distinction — clean, pure, and immediately captivating.

Palate

Full-bodied, creamy, and earthy — a long, clean finish with no burn and a smooth, rounded mouthfeel that sets Chopin apart from grain vodkas. The flavour profile rewards sipping neat as much as it does in a classic martini or cocktail.

Pairs With

Chopin Potato Vodka pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, caviar, oysters, charcuterie, and light cana pés — equally superb neat over ice, in a Chopin Martini, or as the base for premium cocktails of genuine distinction.

Production Notes

Crafted at the historic Dorda family distillery in Krzesk, eastern Poland — a 17-acre estate dating to the 18th century. Seasonal potatoes are sourced from family farms within 18 miles of the distillery, with much of the production process still done by hand using the original copper column still. Small-batch production ensures quality and keeps the spirit grounded in tradition. 40% ABV.

Producer History

The Chopin distillery and its surrounding buildings date back to the 18th century, located in the pristine village of Krzesk in eastern Poland. The Dorda family acquired the distillery in 2003, restoring its traditional operations and modernising bottling and packaging while preserving the techniques that have defined Chopin since inception. The family sources ingredients from within 18 miles of the distillery — working with many of the same family farms for decades — and takes great pride in small-batch production, knowing exactly where every ingredient comes from.
