Utilising "Femminello" lemon peel, Limoncino Bottega is crafted through a process of infusion. This type of lemon, known for its superior quality essential oils and thin grain peel, is commonly grown and harvested in Italy. The variety is awarded its name "Femminello" due to its year-round fertility and sensitivity to cold temperatures. Only the finest and naturally grown lemons are selected, hand-washed and meticulously peeled to ensure the removal of the bitter white part. The remaining yellow peel, rich in essential oils, is then infused in alcohol for approximately 30 days, allowing for the extraction of aromatic and colour elements. The liquid is ultimately separated from the peel and blended with high quality grappa and sugar, resulting in a one-of-a-kind and unmistakably unique Limoncino experience.
