Winemaking Notes
The Blue Pyrenees Bone Dry Rosé 2024 is crafted with precision to showcase the elegance of Pinot Noir. Parcels of grapes from the Blue Pyrenees Estate vineyard were harvested during the cool of morning to retain flavour and brightness. Following gentle pressing, the juice was fermented at controlled temperatures between 14-16°C to enhance the aromatic purity and highlight the wine's inherent freshness. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation and bâtonnage on yeast lees, a technique that adds texture and complexity of flavour whilst developing the characteristic creamy mid-palate. These meticulous winemaking techniques create a thoroughly enjoyable wine designed to be savoured slightly chilled on warm summer days.

Vintage Conditions
The 2024 vintage in the Pyrenees region of Victoria proved exceptional for rosé production. The growing season benefited from moderate temperatures and well-timed rainfall, ensuring healthy canopy development and optimal fruit ripeness. Cool nights during the ripening period preserved the natural acidity and vibrant fruit characters essential for quality rosé wines. Harvest conditions were ideal, with stable weather allowing the winemaking team to pick the Pinot Noir grapes at precisely the right moment to capture the perfect balance of flavour intensity, freshness, and aromatic purity that defines this elegant Bone Dry Rosé.
