Taylor's St Andrews Shiraz 2022 is a rich, full-bodied Clare Valley Shiraz combining concentrated dark fruit with generous texture, savoury spice and integrated oak complexity. Blackberry and dark cherry lead the profile, with chocolate, vanilla and warm spice adding depth through a long, structured finish.
Tasting Notes
The 2022 shows ripe blackberry and dark cherry fruit with layers of chocolate, vanilla and fragrant spice. The palate is full-bodied and generous, with balanced freshness and soft, chewy tannins giving shape to the wine. Oak adds complexity without overwhelming the fruit, carrying through a long, warming and savoury finish.
Winemaking
Fermented in American oak barrels with extended skin contact of up to four weeks. Following fermentation, the wine was matured for 18 months in the same water-bent American oak barrels — a combination of new and one-year-old — integrating oak character gradually and preserving the wine's fruit integrity throughout the maturation period.

Cellaring & Serving
This is a Shiraz with the concentration and structure to reward cellaring, while remaining approachable with food in its youth. Serve at 16–18°C.
