Unico Zelo Fresh AF Nero d'Avola Zibibbo 2025

Unico Zelo Fresh AF Nero d'Avola Zibibbo 2025 is a bright, crunchy Riverland red built around freshness and pure drinkability. Nero d'Avola leads the blend, lifted by aromatic Zibibbo and a small component of Fiano, creating a vibrant, light-footed red designed to be enjoyed with a chill.

Tasting Notes

Sour cherry, blood orange and blueberry lead the aromatic profile, with touches of rhubarb, strawberry and spice. The palate is lively and refreshing, combining juicy fruit with bright acidity and fine, sandy tannins before a clean, energetic finish.

Winemaking

The 2025 blend is 80% Nero d'Avola, 11% Zibibbo and 9% Fiano from the Riverland. The Nero d'Avola and Zibibbo were co-fermented in stainless steel with short skin contact before being pressed back to tank, with Fiano added at bottling. No oak was used, preserving the wine's freshness and vibrant fruit character.

Riverland

Fresh AF showcases Mediterranean varieties particularly well suited to the warm conditions of South Australia's Riverland. The result is an energetic contemporary Australian red focused on freshness, fragrance and easy drinking.

Cellaring & Serving

Best enjoyed young while its fruit and freshness are at their most vibrant. Serve lightly chilled at around 12–14°C.
