Beechworth Wine Estates Chardonnay 2021

Beechworth Wine Estates Chardonnay 2019 vintage was matured on lees in controlled temperatures for ten months, which gives the wine a balance of fresh white peach, florals and toasty lees influence. The palate shows a richness, complexity and length of flavour for which Beechworth Chardonnay is renowned. 

"Hand picked, whole-bunch pressed and fermented in French oak (30% new). Matured on lees for 10 months. Beechworth's signature white grape plus a quality vintage and a quality maker equals one mighty exciting chardonnay. Crackles and snaps in lively fruit flavour before settling into a long, warm and smooth palate of concentrated power. Almond, citrus, nectarine and grilled-grapefruit scents. Radiates layers of ripe fruit and nougat with a distinctively regional mineral-saline intensity that lasts long in the mouth. Oak is well integrated and acidity is clean, guiding its journey ahead.
