Bakery Hill Classic Single Malt presents a light, translucent gold hue with amazingly luscious legs — the hallmark of a superb single malt matured up to 8 years in American Oak Ex-Bourbon barrels from Jack Daniels in Tennessee. Single barrel maturation ensures every ounce of flavour without blending. Elegant and immediately inviting in the glass.

Aroma

Complex and beautifully layered on the nose — sweet green apples, spiced honey and a hint of cider open with freshness and warmth. There’s a Speyside-style delicacy and refinement here that speaks to distiller David Baker’s vision of over 20 years: a Victorian single malt with notes of spiced apple, nutmeg and honey that would sit comfortably alongside the great Speyside malts of Scotland.

Palate

The flavour ramps up beautifully — nutmeg leads, moving through spiced honey to a firm cereal with a malty richness layered on as a finale. Loads of rich malty sweetness carry through with depth and satisfaction, underpinned by the American Oak Ex-Bourbon character of the Jack Daniels barrels. The finish is mouth-filling, smooth and lingering, leaving a satisfying warmth that is the DNA of the entire Bakery Hill range.
