Araldica Alasia Moscato d'Asti 2025 DOCG is a sweet, lightly sparkling Italian white wine from the Piemonte region, made entirely from Moscato — the grape that defines one of Italy's most celebrated appellations. Pale straw-gold with a fine, soft mousse, it delivers the hallmark character of Moscato d'Asti: delicate floral perfume, luscious honey, fresh stone fruit and a low-alcohol freshness that makes it one of the most versatile and food-friendly sweet wines in the world.

Tasting Notes

Aroma

Fragrant and inviting — fresh white peach, apricot and nectarine intertwined with delicate floral notes of orange blossom and acacia, lifted by the natural aromatic intensity that is Moscato's signature.

Palate

Gently sparkling and lusciously sweet, yet always refreshing. Honey and stone fruit lead across a soft, creamy palate with the wine's naturally bright acidity keeping everything light and clean. At just 5% ABV, it is approachable and delightfully easy to enjoy.

Finish

Clean, fresh and gently sweet, with lingering floral and honey notes and a characteristic vivacity that invites the next sip.

About Araldica Alasia

Araldica is Piemonte's largest and most progressive co-operative, yet retains a small, family-run feel under the inspired guidance of winemaker and manager Claudio Manera — whose father Livio was the co-operative's first winemaker in the 1950s — and his wife Lella, also a winemaker and head of Quality Control. Around 80% of production is bottled at the company's headquarters in the Monferrato hills, an extraordinarily high percentage for a co-operative of this scale and a genuine statement of quality intent.

The grapes for the Alasia Moscato d'Asti are sourced from member vineyards in the Monferrato hills in the south of the province of Asti. Vineyards face south-west at altitudes between 250 and 400 metres on limestone-clay soils, trained using the traditional Piedmont low Guyot trellis. The fruit is hand-harvested and fermented in pressure tank under temperature control, with fermentation deliberately stopped by chilling and filtration to preserve the wine's natural sweetness and aromatics.

Moscato d'Asti DOCG

Moscato d'Asti is one of Italy's most distinctive and tightly regulated appellations — a small-production DOCG in the southern Piemonte hills producing exclusively sweet, low-alcohol, lightly sparkling wines from Moscato Bianco. The combination of aromatic intensity, natural sweetness and refreshing acidity has made it a benchmark for the style globally, enjoyed as an aperitivo, with dessert, or simply on its own.

Serving

Serve well chilled at 6–8°C. Beautiful with fresh fruit, light pastries, almond-based desserts, soft cheeses and fruit-based tarts. Equally enjoyable as an aperitif or as a gentle finish to a meal.

Winery & Vintage Info

Araldica is Piemonte's largest and most progressive co-operative, yet retains a small, family-run feel under the inspired guidance of winemaker and manager Claudio Manera — whose father Livio was the co-operative's first winemaker in the 1950s — and his wife Lella, also a winemaker and head of Quality Control.

Around 80% of production is bottled at the company's headquarters in the Monferrato hills — an extraordinarily high percentage for a large co-operative. This is complemented by two estates, each with its own vinification cellars: La Battistina in Gavi (where Araldica is the region's largest vineyard owner) and Il Cascinone.

The grapes for the Alasia Moscato d'Asti are sourced from member vineyards in the Monferrato hills in the south of the province of Asti, Piemonte. Vineyards face south-west at altitudes between 250 and 400 metres above sea level, on limestone-clay soils, trained using the Piedmont low Guyot trellis. Vine age averages 30 years with a planting density of 4,000–4,500 vines per hectare. The fruit is hand-harvested. Fermentation takes place in pressure tank under temperature control and is deliberately stopped by chilling and filtration to retain the wine's natural sweetness and aromatics.
