Amaro Lucano is a distinguished Italian bitter liqueur born in 1894 from a secret recipe created by Cavalier Pasquale Vena in the back of his biscuit factory in Pisticci, Lucania — and passed from generation to generation of the Vena family ever since. A delicate blend of more than 30 specially selected herbs, with citrus and floral notes, herbal complexity, and a strong yet perfectly balanced character developed through an extended ripening phase. So exceptional it became the official choice of the Royal House of Savoy. Over 130 years later, the recipe hasn’t changed.
