Collection: Yarran

Yarran Wines is a family-owned winery on the outskirts of Yenda in the Riverina, NSW. John and Lorraine Brewer purchased the property in 1978, redeveloping an old fruit farm into the vineyard that Yarran now calls home. The first Shiraz was released in 1998. Today, their son Sam Brewer — who completed his wine degree at Charles Sturt University — leads winemaking across the full Yarran range.

Named after the Aboriginal word for Acacia Tree, Yarran is a nod to the land, history and culture of the Yenda region. James Halliday named Yarran his Dark Horse Winery, recognising Sam Brewer's winemaking skill and the exceptional value of estate-grown Riverina Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
