Collection: Sanguine Estate | Heathcote, Victoria

Sanguine Estate is a family-owned estate in Heathcote, Victoria, established by the Hunter family on a site chosen for one reason: the ancient Cambrian soils that run through the heart of the region. At 500 million years old, these red-brown soils over ironstone and quartz are among the oldest in the world, and they produce Shiraz of a character found nowhere else in Australia — deep, structured, and built for the long term.

Shiraz is the focus of everything Sanguine does. The Progeny is the entry point — vibrant, fruit-driven and expressive of the region’s warmth. The Inception is the flagship: a wine of genuine depth and complexity, drawn from the estate’s best parcels and built to age. Both wines are made with minimal intervention, allowing the Cambrian soils and Heathcote’s warm continental climate to do the work.

Sanguine Estate is one of the producers that has done most to establish Heathcote’s reputation as one of Australia’s great Shiraz regions.
