Green apple, a little nutty, slight fennel and herb notes. It’s fleshy and textured, green apple and lemon/tangerine sorbet, has weight too, but it’s balanced and long with it. There’s a bit of Rheinhessen here! (though don’t mind me). Superb drinking, and value with it."

Wickhams Road is a subsidiary Hoddles Creek Estate. The vineyard is trellised to VSP and is always cane pruned. During the winter months, sheep run through the property to reduce the reliance on chemical control for weeds and grasses. The resultant wines are balanced, and require no acidification or fining.
