Stonier Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir 2025 is a blend of Southern Peninsula grower vineyards — a wine that speaks of the balance and enjoyment that great Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir can deliver. Wild strawberry and foraged pine mushrooms are the hallmark varietal aromas, but the palate is where this wine shines brightest: full and brooding through the mid-palate, finishing with svelte tannins that will suitably deliver for lovers of Pinot. A distinguished cool-climate red from one of Victoria’s premier Pinot Noir regions.

Appearance

Deep ruby red with vibrant crimson highlights — the vivid, youthful colour of a Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir of genuine intensity and cool-climate character.

Aroma

Wild strawberry and foraged pine mushrooms lead a fragrant and expressive bouquet of genuine varietal purity, with dark cherry and raspberry adding depth and subtle earthy complexity. Elegant, layered, and immediately evocative of the Mornington Peninsula’s distinctive cool-climate terroir.

Palate

Harmoniously balanced, with ripe dark cherry and raspberry fruit showing the elegance and restraint typical of cool-climate Pinot Noir. Full and brooding through the mid-palate, with earthy undertones and subtle spice adding complexity, before svelte tannins carry the wine to a long and persistent finish. Already beautiful, and will continue to evolve over the next 12 months and beyond.

Pairs With

Roasted duck breast, pan-seared salmon, mushroom risotto, lamb rack, charcuterie, aged Gruyère, and truffle-based dishes. A versatile and food-friendly Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir that rewards the table as much as the cellar.
