"It’s a strange world we find ourselves in, that when a wine receives a good score like 89 or 90 points, it’s considered by many to not be high enough. Anyway, this can be found under $20 at some places.Red fruits, spice, light dusty tannin, fresh feeling, strawberry, and dare I say it, perhaps a touch of the old Burgundy rouge here, not least with its tasty autumnal aftertaste. Lovely to drink. Easy to enjoy. In short, it delivers the Pinot goods. It may well even improve with another year in bottle, though that’s hardly the point."

Situated in Australia's Yarra Valley, Oakridge has been producing wine since 1978. Over The Shoulder wines are a regional selection that showcase the diverse range of table wines that the Yarra Valley is capable of producing.

The 2017 Vintage was a classic year with timely rainfall and low crops. Ripening conditions were ideal - long and slow. Resulting in wines with outstanding purity and balance.

This Pinot Noir was sourced from vineyards in Woori Yallock (Lusatia), Coldstream (Oakridge) and Gladysdale (Willowlake).

Handpicked, chilled overnight, sorted and gently destemmed to try and achieve 90%+ whole berry ferments.
