Cantina di Gambellara, the first cooperative winery in the province of Vicenza, established in 1947 on the ashes of the previous cooperative winery called Enopolio di Gambellara, active since 1920. Enopolio = stands for/evolves into Monopolio, a name that underlines the monopoly of the Gambellara DOC denomination on the territory, but which is also the name of the brand new selection that contains small treasures: the Garganega, a native vine, in its most diverse declinations and nuances starting from Soave, passing through Gambellara Classico, up to the Garganega dried in the "picai" from which the Recioto and Vin Santo di Gambellara DOC derive, a denomination that the winery itself has helped to draw up since its inception. Gambellara is a land of basalts, dark rocks and an extinct volcano that have characterized the territory and give great aromatic finesse to the wines. The Gambellara Monopolio Pinot Grigio showcases the best of Italian wine.
