Pale gold in colour with brilliant clarity, showcasing the wine's quality and elegant style characteristic of this exceptional 2022 Botrytis Semillon from Riverina, crafted by winemaker Joel Veenhuizen.
Aroma
A nose with subtle spices such as nutmeg and cedar wood, which explodes into pineapple and orange rind notes. Notes of candied apricot and glacé orange with gardenia florals create a sophisticated aromatic profile, reflecting the exceptional quality Botrytis fruit.
Palate
The palate is long and fine, with barley sugar and dried apricot flavours leading the charge. Rich, sweet and spicy with tangy acidity, driving to a zesty, clean finish. Marmalade, dried apricots and zesty agrume flavours are all intermingled together on the palate, with clean, soft acidity holding onto all the flavours. Finishing delightfully delicious. A third of the blend is matured on French oak to impart nuances of vanillin oak, leaving the fruit to shine bright in your glass.
